I’m very much a DIY’er.
Both because I love to learn new things but also because I hate paying for things I think I can do myself. So deciding to enroll in Nicole’s coaching program was a really big deal for me. I had been following her for a little on Facebook because I was really interested in expanding to additional income streams and she gave out great free information that really helped me and made so much sense.
I knew I wanted to be able to run groups so that I could work less hours and decrease the amount of individual sessions I needed to do.
I have a therapy practice, and although I love counseling, I was finding the amount of individual therapy sessions I needed to do was too much to feel like I could have work-life balance. I also was wanting to find a way to better connect with therapists who were like me and have difficulty finding the time and energy.
I decided it would make much more sense for me to work with someone who knows how to run a business.
Nicole just seemed like the perfect fit for me because of her expertise in my line of work, her obvious knowledge of how to market, and her passion for working with entrepreneurs. I had been checking out different programs and services being offered out in the world and Nicole’s best matched my needs.
Nicole helped me successfully facilitate and fill four different group programs.
She guided me through the steps, helped me identify the priorities, and kept me focused. She also gave me great strategies for improving everything. I was able to get helpful feedback on emails, flyers, agendas, webpages, and more.
Most of all, by working with Nicole, I stayed motivated.
I had previously tried to run a group, before joining Nicole’s coaching program and it didn’t go well. I immediately lost the motivation and gave up. Nicole was able to help me see the end goal when I was feeling anxious.
My business anxiety has decreased so much because of this work.
A really big thing Nicole helped me gain insight into was a specific mindset that was really getting in the way of being successful. I’m still working on this because it’s long-term work but I am much more self-aware of how I negatively impact my goals when I do not consciously work on these attitudes.
In addition to offering groups and having a mindset which better serves my business, I have also done some really cool things in my local therapist community.
Biggest Wins working with Nicole:
- I’ve successfully facilitated and filled 4 different group programs
- I’ve hosted 6 networking happy hour events for therapists and future collaborators
- I’ve created a newsletter and a Facebook group with over 100 members focused on work-life balance and self-care for mental health professionals.
I would definitely recommend working with Nicole, especially if you have a vision for something you want to do, but you don’t know the steps to take.
You could spend months researching how to do it, but if you don’t have that business background, you are wasting so much time. Creating a business does take time and we live in a world of instant gratification, so it’s easy to lose hope and momentum when we don’t see immediate results.
Working with Nicole helped me be objective, stay motivated, and be accountable.
