Last week was one of my favorite days — when Oprah announces out her Favorite Things list for the holidays.
You may be wondering why EXACTLY that is one of my favorite days? Well honestly, I really just love giving gifts for people and I used to really enjoy the way she gave out all the gifts to everyone who attended the show and their excitement over it.
I’m also a bit biz obsessed and I love that businesses (like Spanx by Sara Blakely) have absolutely SKY-ROCKETED as a direct result of getting exposure to her audience. Nothing excites me more then seeing small companies become huge ones!!
A couple of years ago I thought it would be fun on my birthday to put out my own personal list of Favorite Things — these are things that I use in both my business + life — since I love gift giving so much and absolutely adore sharing my favorite things you can bet if you’re a friend or family member there’s a good chance one of these will end up in your stocking during the holidays.
Here are some of my TOP favorite items (in no particular order) from 2017

Okay I’m pretty sure that this made the list a couple of years ago but it’s still one of my most FAVORITE TV shows and should be an ABSOLUTE requirement for every entrepreneur to watch. If you’re anything like me you work your butt off for your clients and your business and you often spend a LOT of hours at home! I’m probably SUPER late to the game but I’ve developed a serious taste for ranch dressing over the past year — I literally want to put it on everything I eat. Can i be honest with you??? There are some days that I work from my couch. Not a lot anymore but every now and then it’s nice to just curl up in the corner of the couch with my fuzzy blanket + my Macbaby! One of my friends suggested I share my favorite lip gloss, but you know what?? I actually can’t stand lip gloss or how sticky it makes my lips feel!!! What I do love is the Nivea lip balm — it smells great and is the perfect lip smoother. I buy at least 5 of these at a time and share them with everyone I know. PLUS the price is amazing so you can afford to have one in every room + purse you own.
Speaking of purses, this is pretty much the only one I use (i’m actually on my second one because the first one I owned got worn out after a few years!!).
